As African decent I think it’s fair to say no matter how high we have climbed the mountain of opportunity, the spirits of our ancestors live within us. I think this video is a good example of that. We can never deny our roots, for it is the very thing that makes us who we are. Once we understand that we are African first before we are anything else, we’re already on the right path to enlightenment. But when we have denied our roots for a chance to economic advancement we reject everything that is whole within us. To deny the commencement of the roots which produces the tree is to deny the very existent of the tree, because without the roots the tree cannot stand in communion with the winds of time.
